Phone Rage!

I ask you, which is least frustrating?
Cell phones with spotty coverage and performance?
Or pay phones crawling with TB and broken glass?
And let's all give a big round of applause to Windy for taking this picture whilst com-PLETE-lee shithoused. Good aim, girl!

N Williams Betwixt Fremont and Beech

I will find this Paulrus person and destroy them. The most prolific and obnoxious tag in Oregon.

Happy Frickin' Thanksgiving!

The Dumpster at the First Immanuel Lutheran Church, NW 18th and Irving, Portland, OR

This little ghost that is either drunk or just got his ass kicked has been slowly popping up around town. I like it for its simplicity and its Pac Man-esque qualities.

Shiver and Shake

I've been pretty heavy into the Cure these past few months for whatever reason. As much as I like their jangly, early guitar era, I find myself gravitating towards their later (mid) lush sound with keyboards and sounds and stuff. I asked my Go To Guy what his fave album was and he said "17 Seconds."
I realized then that I need a new "Go To Guy."
My favorite constant album has always been The Head on the Door. In fact, if it weren't for that song "Screw" it could well be a perfect album. How that song got on is something I'll never get. It doesn't fit the mood of the album and would have been better suited as a b-side.
But what do I know?
Anyhoo, here are a few songs I've always loved. One off of The Head on the Door, one from Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, two from Wish ("A Letter to Elise" may be my favorite Cure song ever), and one from their newest album 4:13 Dreamwhich while not a perfect album, it does have some damn good songs on it. Most notably the first track "Underneath the Stars" which I have included for you.
Anyhoo, hope someone likes this. Feel free to mock.

Snowy Plover, RIP (as peacefulness was nothing you knew whilst alive)

Nothing is forever. Things, people, sounds grow apart. It can hurt but sometimes it is best to walk away and not look back. No hard feelings, no ill will, and no reason to ever do it again. I wish you all luck in your endeavors and here is hoping that you contribute more to the world than you take from it. We may never talk again, but I will always have fond memories and never regret any of it. Good Luck, God Speed, and Thanks for the Memories.

The Ho of Louie, 331 NW Davis St

Well, the neon burned out at ye ol' House of Louie. Sadly, my camera wasn't having the orange neon on a white background so I used a friend's Photoshop to make it a little more visible.
If you couldn't tell, I know jack about Photoshop. I just hit a bunch of buttons until it makes me happy.

Oh man...

Someone find Potato! Especially since that is a cute damned name and quite appropriate for this dog's shape.
